Gas servicing and renewal

Gas appliances should be kept in good condition as a way of preventing CO2 leaking and prolonging the life of the unit. All appliances should be serviced at least once a year to ensure they are running efficiently and without any issues that may impact the longevity of the unit.

Old gas appliances may still work, however, they will be outdated in their efficiency. Ask us what your options are in regards to more efficient gas appliances and what they will save you per year. OGP has extensive knowledge in replacing old gas lines throughout existing houses, such as Edwardian, Victorian, and Art Deco. We also understand that the facade and integrity of these buildings must be kept at a high standard.

With the upgrade of low pressure to high pressure gas mains spreading their way through the city and outer suburbs, it is highly likely that after your mains have been renewed there will be leaks in your gas line. This can be due to low pressure lines rusting beneath the ground and wearing through.

If you have any issues with either gas appliances, gas lines or are just interested in how you can lower your gas consumption and therefore your carbon footprint feel free to contact us any time.
