Hydronic heating

Hydronic heating is up to 50% more effective than ducted heating, or 80% if paired with a solar hot water system. Even though the upfront costs may be more, we strongly advise that you install hydronic heating as opposed to ducted. We make this recommendation for various reasons, including:

• Hydronic heating is much more efficient and has a significantly lower carbon footprint.
• The heat that is produced by hydronic radiators and slab heating is much smoother and feels more natural.
• There is less noise disruption
• There is no draught blowing around the house carrying dust and causing hay fever etc.
• The cost of installing hydronic heating may be daunting when compared with ducted heating, however, the initial higher cost is justified when you consider the guaranteed future savings.
